Re: 2017 Nominations for PCCAT Board

The Pan-Canadian Consortium on Admissions and Transfer (PCCAT), will be accepting nominations to the Board of Directors to be considered at its Annual General Meeting on June 9, 2017.

PCCAT was fully incorporated under the Canada Not-for-Profit Act in April 2013 and has a volunteer board of directors. The Board has a shared commitment to facilitate the implementation of policies and practices to support student mobility within and among provinces and territories in Canada.

Board members will help to guide the direction of the organization through its yearly activities, including organizing the annual conference, setting the annual research plan, and communication of its activities through its website.

It is expected that Board members will participate in eight to twelve board meetings (by teleconference), as well as board committees as required.

Board positions are for two years in duration, with the possibility of a renewal for an additional two years.
We are currently seeking positions for the following:

7 - 8 Directors at Large

The Nomination Committee of the Board is initiating a pre-nominations process to ensure that there are a range of qualified candidates to fill vacant positions.

If you are interested in nominating a candidate, or standing for nomination yourself, please complete the attached forms and return them to Robin Fisher at ACATChair@gov.ab.ca or fax 780-422-3688, Chair of the PCCAT Nominations Committee, by Friday May 26, 2016. Your nomination will be accepted once you receive a confirmation email.
